Music at First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables

Music is an integral part of worship and of our lives together in Christ here at First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables. We have graded choirs for the children and youth, and excellence in all our worship services is a value we cherish.

At the 11:00 am Sunday Service, the Sanctuary Choir provides leadership weekly, while the Handbell and Children’s Choir occasionally participate.

The Praise Team, including vocalists and instrumentalists, regularly provide leadership at the 9:30 am Service, with occasional guest musicians.

The 8:30 Chapel services include soloists and ensembles.

The scriptures instruct us to Come before Him with joyful singing. Ps. 100:2 and Sing to the Lord a new song. Ps. 33:3. If music is your passion, please join us at one of the rehearsal times listed below, or speak to one of the music staff.
